2013 RM Yachts RM 1260

St Peter Port, Guernsey

£165,000

RM1260, designed by Marc Lombard with short-handed offshore cruising in mind and built by RM Yachts (La Rochelle) in 2013. As with all RM Yachts, the hull and frames are constructed from marine plywood and epoxy with a GRP / plywood deck moulding resulting in a strong, stable and well insulated modern day ocean cruiser / racer. An extremely well prepared and comfortable blue water cruising yacht with easy to handle cutter rig, which won European Family Cruiser of the Year Award in 2013. A great deal of thought went into the planning and specification of this yacht by its experienced sole owner, who has since completed 4 Atlantic crossings (1 single handed). See Yachting World review on YouTube: “On test: RM 1260 - a sporty plywood fast cruiser”
